Twitter has added an “Official” badge to some high-profile accounts, including that of Tesla CEO Elon Musk<\/a>. The badge, which is meant to indicate that an account is “verified and of public interest,” was added to Musk’s account on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n Musk, who is known for his active Twitter use, quickly took notice of the badge. He responded to a tweet from Twitter user @jack that said, “Looks like @elonmusk got the new verified badge!”<\/p>\n “Twitter, please delete my account,” Musk replied.<\/p>\n
